The Children's Society East

We work with young people and their families in Essex, Hertfordshire and Norfolk.

Whatever you're going through, we encourage you to make positive choices. If you think you're in an unhealthy relationship, you're worried about your parents' drinking, or you're looking for employment or training, we've got you covered.

Through a range of positive activities we can increase your confidence, develop life skills and build your emotional resilience.

About us

Our EYPDAS and CHHAT services are there for you if you're affected by drug or alcohol use and addiction. C.A.R.E looks out for those who are at risk of being exploited and don't know who else to talk to. Safe in Essex supports others who just need a bit of structure in their lives.

We also offer training for 16-18 year olds who have had trouble getting into education and employment, and coaching for those looking to rebuild their confidence.

Most importantly, our Essex Participation group are involved in the decisions that affect the young people we work with. So young voices are at the heart of what we do.
