Becoming Us: Intensive Coaching
We provide intensive coaching support for young people in placements in Essex (8-14 year olds); helping young people to return home or ‘step-down’ to less intensive care.

Who is Becoming Us for?
Young People who have been through multiple placements in the last year, we are here to help. We will work with them through the difficult times to get your life back on track.
What do we provide?
We will work with young people every step of the way. Our intensive coaching can be for a duration of up to 12 months.
Coaches can work to help support young people to reach their pre-identified set milestones. We want young people to achieve their goals and we won't give up. We want to enable young people to make informed choices, settle in placement and find a sense of belonging.

How do I access the service?
It is important to know that the service is only accessible through the children in care social work team. Young people cannot self-identify or self-refer to this service.
