Philanthropy

Help us Save Teenhood

Teenhood is under pressure. Together, we can change what happens next.

Across the UK, poverty, exploitation, abuse and poor mental health are shaping young lives. Too many teens reach crisis point before they get the support they need.

Today, we have an opportunity to do more: to prevent harm before it happens, intervene earlier when young people need support, and help change the systems that affect their lives.

A philanthropic partnership between you and The Children’s Society can help make that possible.

Be part of a change that lasts

Save Teenhood is our ambition to make growing up safer and healthier for young people.

We want to see a future where young people can get the right support at the right time — and where fewer reach crisis point in the first place.

Philanthropic support can help us strengthen early intervention, develop and test new approaches, build evidence about what works and use what we learn to influence wider systems.

It means we can look beyond responding to individual crises and help create change that lasts.

What your philanthropy could make possible

Your major gift could help to:

  • Prevent exploitation before harm spreads, helping young people recognise risks and access trusted support.
  • Provide earlier mental wellbeing support, so young people can get help before problems escalate.
  • Strengthen systems that protect young people, using evidence and young people's experiences to influence policy and practice.
  • Develop and scale effective early-intervention approaches, so more young people can benefit from what works.

We can work with you to identify an opportunity that reflects your interests and philanthropic priorities, while helping us deliver meaningful outcomes for young people.

Having someone walking beside me, listening without judging, believing in me, and helping me work through challenges gave me the confidence to keep moving forward.

Why The Children's Society?

Your support builds on more than 145 years of experience working with young people, alongside expertise in frontline services, research, campaigning and influencing.

We listen to young people, learn from our work with them and use evidence to understand what needs to change. We combine this insight with our experience to help improve the systems around young people, as well as the support available to them.
