An emotional health and well-being service for children affected by domestic abuse

Through one to one counselling with a qualified and experienced practitioner, children and young people are encouraged to develop strengths and protective factors to build their resilience.

They are supported to develop personal safety plans, identifying where they can get help, mapping their personal support networks, focusing on their strengths and building their self-esteem.

Who is this service available to?

The service is for children and young people aged 8–19 who have experienced or are currently exposed to domestic abuse and who live in Greater Manchester.

How to access this service

Referrals can be made by any professional, such as school, health or social care. Or parents can self-refer. Please contact us.
