Support us in your church
Churches are vital in helping us be there for young people who are hanging on to hope. Through fundraising, campaigning, awareness-raising and prayer, you are helping improve the lives of children who grow up in poverty, get abused or neglected, or struggle with mental health.
We are hugely grateful for your support. Any way you can get involved will make a big difference.
Jesus loved and valued children
Since our foundation in 1881 by Edward Rudolf, a Sunday school teacher in South London, we have partnered with churches across the country to improve the lives of children and young people.
Jesus himself loved and valued children (Mark 10.13-16) and gospel values are fundamental to our vision. We see all children and young people as made in the image of God, and deserving of every chance in life. We put the needs of children and young people first and we speak out on behalf of those who have no voice.
Here are some ways you can support us in your church.
Sign up for prayers
Sign up to our monthly prayer email to receive prayers every month that support our work. You can unsubscribe at any time.
From coffee mornings and bake sales to Christingles and church collection boxes, there are so many creative ways to bring your community together and raise money for young people.
Volunteering with your church
Our volunteers are so important to the work we do. Any time you can give, however small, is a huge help.
You can volunteer in your church by organising a Christingle for your community. Or, if you'd like to spread the word of our work, you could become a volunteer speaker.
We also always need people to coordinate our collection boxes. We have roles whatever your skills and time commitment.
Want to help raise awareness in your church about the vital work we do? Below we've laid out a few ways you can do so:
- Email us and invite one of our knowledgeable volunteer speakers to give a talk on the issues affecting children and young people
- Use our resources to plan a worship service focusing on issues affecting children and young people. We have resources for key events in the Church calendar, such as Mothering Sunday and Christingle.
- Sign up for our monthly prayers and give readings that are related to different areas of our work.
Many churches choose to support us through a regular gift or as part of their planned mission giving. To find out more about how to do this, please call our Supporter Care team on 0300 303 7000.
You can also make a one-off donation.
