10,323 supporters signed our letter to the Children's Minister, calling for more support for vulnerable 16 and 17 year olds as they move into adulthood. On 23 October, a group of young people handed a letter in and had the opportunity to give their views on the issue to a room of decision makers.
16 and 17 can be awkward ages, but it's seriously awkward that too often vital support falls short for 58,000 vulnerable teenagers - and can disappear overnight at 18.
Still a child at 16 or 17, the support they get to overcome complex issues like mental health problems, poverty and domestic violence is limited, falling apart completely when they reach 18.
We'll continue to build momentum with our campaign and put pressure on the Government to recognise the needs of these young people.
Sign up now and be the first to hear about the next steps in our campaign to helping vulnerable 16 and 17 year olds.
