Mental health services are free on the NHS.
To get urgent medical help, use the NHS 111 online service, or call 111 if you’re unable to get help online.
Time for young people is our free emotional wellbeing support service for young people aged 10 - 25 who live or study in Coventry or Warwickshire.
Time for young people empowers young people to take time for themselves. You can press pause, breathe, and move forward. You can choose what support you access and when.
Our trained practitioners can help you if you’re feeling unhappy or are finding things difficult. Together, we’ll work through your problems to try and stop things getting worse.
Whatever challenges you’re dealing with, you won’t be judged. Instead, you’ll get the tools you need to understand your emotions, build strong relationships, and feel stronger.
We can help you to develop new skills and provide resources to support your well-being. That might include finding strategies and techniques to make your life easier, like how to deal with anxious feelings, manage a panic attack or get better sleep. We might suggest you look at other online resources or support with signposting you to alternative services.

Would you like to speak to us online?
1-2-1 online appointments are available to you if you are unable to attend in person. Please email us at timecoventry_warwickshire@childrenssociety.org.uk and request an online appointment, leaving a name and a contact phone number. We will then call you to arrange an appointment.
We'll work flexibly to offer support in the areas where you feel you need help most. Together, we will work through goals, self-help strategies, resilience building, and more, so that you feel empowered to take control of your own well-being.
We won’t assess or diagnose any conditions you might be dealing with, and we won’t automatically make referrals to other services. There may be times where we feel we need to speak to other people, services, or agencies about something you have told us – for example, if you’ve let us know that you or someone else is in danger. We’ll always try to speak to you about this first and let you know what we need to do.
Are you an educational establishment, GP practice, or organisation that has identified several young people who require support? We can come to you.

A mental health crisis is an emergency that has a direct and immediate threat to your physical and emotional safety. In a situation like this, it’s important to get help quickly.
Try to stay calm and ask someone for help. It could help to tell someone you trust, maybe a family member or a friend. They can be with you and help you decide what to do. They can also contact other services on your behalf.
If there is any immediate risk to life, contact the emergency services by calling 999.
