What do we do?

What do we do?

We provide therapeutic support for young people, as well as psychoeducation and wellbeing support for parents. We use a range of interventions and engagement techniques, to ensure we're supporting people with their individual needs in mind.

This includes:

  • One to one support
  • Group work
  • Awareness sessions

Our service aims are:

  • to show an increase in emotional wellbeing and mental health for young people and parents who have experienced domestic abuse and violence
  • to make sure young people’s voices, opinions, and views are embedded within the service and its delivery
  • to facilitate access to wider community support that wraps around the young person and their family
  • to increase awareness of the impact of domestic violence and abuse on emotional health and wellbeing, while supporting parents and young people with coping skills.

How to access Resolve@

We are open Monday to Friday from 9am until 5pm

We also work flexibly with families where required and can arrange appointments on Saturdays or after 5pm when needed and when possible.

Need urgent support?

A mental health crisis is an emergency that has a direct and immediate threat to your physical or emotional wellbeing. In these situations, it's important to get help quickly.

Try to stay calm and ask someone for help if you need it. It could help to tell someone you trust, maybe a family member or a friend. They can be with you and help you decide what to do. They can also contact services on your behalf.

If there is any immediate risk to life, contact the emergency services by calling 999.
