Trustee Board members

Rt Revd Tim Thornton
Bishop Tim is the fifteenth Bishop of the Diocese of Truro, which covers all of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, and two parishes in Devon. Throughout his career, Bishop Tim has been involved in education, and has been a governor of schools ranging from Church of England infants to secondary and independent schools in the public and private sectors.

Adrian Bagg
Adrian has extensive private sector experience and is now Chief Executive at The Papworth Trust, an organisation working with people with disabilities.
Adrian is a member of the Fundraising Committee.

Wesley Cuell
Wesley joined the Trustee Board in September 2011. Wesley was Director of Children’s Services (UK) at the NSPCC for seven years, until March 2011.
Wesley serves on the Standards Committee.
Richard Mann
Richard Mann retired after working for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution for 31 years. As national head of fundraising and communications at the RNLI he had particular responsibility for regional, trust and local corporate fundraising, legacy promotion and events.
Richard has previously been a Trustee of The Children’s Society. He is married with two sons.
Cindy Rampersaud
Cindy is a Chartered Accountant and has worked in the commercial sector for over 20 years, recently as Vice President for Finance at EMI Music Ltd.
Cindy is a member of the Finance Committee.

Dianne Smith
Dianne has over thirty years of experience working in a variety of services for children and young people. She has been Director of Children’s Services in two local authorities, and in currently working at an independent consultant.
Dianne Chairs the Standards Committee.
Sylvia Thomson
Sylvia has worked in the private, public and voluntary sectors. In the private sector she was an industrial relations negotiator in the Engineering Industry. In the public sector she worked at HM Treasury, including a 2 year spell on secondment as the first Deputy Director of the Sure Start programme.
She is Honorary Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, and Vice-Chair of the Trustee Board.

Cllr. Claudia Webbe MSc, BA (Hons)
Claudia is Chair of Operation Trident, an anti-gun crime initiative that she founded with others in 1998.
She is also a board member of London Crimestoppers and a member of the Home Secretary’s round table on guns, gangs and knives.

Michael Williams
Michael Williams is Readers' Editor of The Independent and Independent on Sunday newspapers and is senior lecturer in journalism and media management at the university of Central Lancashire, one of the UK's top premier academic journalism schools.
He also runs his own media consultancy.

Martin Woodroofe
Martin has extensive experience working in Human Resources for commercial organisations for the last 25 years and is active in his local church.
Martin is a member of the Finance Committee.
