Thy Kingdom Come Prayers

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer initiative of the Archbishops of Canterbury and York which takes place each year in the run-up to Pentecost. This year it is taking place from 21–31 May.

At this time of national crisis, many already vulnerable children and young people are at even greater risk. Why not use this time as a special time of prayer for us and the vulnerable children and young people with whom we work? Feel free to share these prayers with your church community and friends.

We have compiled prayers for each day of Thy Kingdom Come, including prayers for:

  • Our work during a time of coronavirus
  • Children most at risk of exploitation
  • Children suffering from poor mental health and low self-esteem
  • Children suffering abuse and neglect

We also have a special Lord’s Prayer rainbow-themed colouring card – why not display this in a window for passers-by to see?
