About: It is the largest, annual, one day fundraising event in the world. Join thousands of people taking on 26.2 miles and running the Virgin Money London Marathon for charity.

Applications are now open for the 2019 Virgin Money London Marathon.

You can enter through the public ballot system, which, if you are successful, will grant you your own place, which we hope you will use to join our team. The ballot is open from Monday 30 April until 5pm on Friday 4 May. The ballot has now closed and the results will be announced in October.

However, to increase your chances of getting a place in next year’s race you can apply for one of our charity places on our 2019 marathon team.
