Once your event is over, all that remains is for you to pay in your donation.

You can do this by:

1. Paying in your donation online

Simply pay the funds raised into your own bank account and then use our online payment form to make a payment to us.

2. Sending us a cheque

Alternatively, you can pay the funds raised into your own bank account and then send us a cheque made payable to ‘The Children’s Society’ to:

The Children's Society
Edward Rudolf House
69-85 Margery Street
London

3. Pay donations in at the bank

You can pay funds directly into our account at your local Barclays bank. To do this, you’ll need to complete one of our fundraising giros and take this along with your donations when paying in. You can pay in at another bank or a Post Office if necessary, however it is worth bearing in mind  that other banks and some Post Offices may charge you a small transfer fee for  the transaction and it may be difficult for us to acknowledge receipt of your donation. If you don’t have a giro, please call 0300 30 30 555 to order one, (8am–9pm Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm Saturday–Sunday).

Send us your collection envelopes

If you used collection envelopes as part of your fundraising, please remember to send us these separately. Please ensure that all of the envelopes are completely empty of any cash before you send them to us – you should never send us cash in the post. Once you’re happy that all of the envelopes have been emptied of all cash, please post them to us for free to:

Staying safe

Once your collection is over, please ensure that at least two of you will be available to deal with the money collected – as far as possible no one should be left to carry money by themselves. If travelling to or from your collection by public transport, remember to carry bags big enough to conceal your collection buckets and tins once you have finished your collection. If you are using a car, remember to store your collection materials out of sight. You should try and pay your collection money to us as soon as possible. Where possible, we recommend that you pay it in to either our bank account, or your own, as soon as you’ve finished collecting.
