Coffee, cakes and work go hand-in-hand, so it only makes sense to use it as an opportunity to raise some money for a good cause!

Bake and Brew at work

Everyone loves a bit of cake at work and it is such a simple way to provide vital support to vulnerable children and young people.

Here's a simple step-by-step guide to fundraising with cakes and tea or coffee at work:

1. Pick a timeframe

You can either do it in one day, for the whole week or even once a week for a month with a different theme each week. Make sure you let your colleagues know well in advance so that they can contribute.

2. Pick an idea

You could:

  • Do a Great British Bake-off style competition where you or a friend judge the best cakes
  • Spend a lunch time selling slices to colleagues.
  • Charge a price for a nice morning coffee and a slice of cake.
  • Challenge different teams or branches to compete against each other for a prize

Whatever you do, make sure you get your colleagues to take part and get involved with baking or buying!

3. Download your poster and recipes

You can use the poster to display the event details around the office and print off the recipe cards to inspire you with your baking.
