If you would like to accompany your entry with a text donation to The Children’s Society please text 'BAKE07' followed by your donation amount (e.g ‘BAKE07 £10’)

To qualify for the competition, take a photo of your Christmas goodies and share using the hashtag #christmascakeoff to one of our social media accounts:

You must be aged 18 or over and a subscriber to The Children’s Society’s social channel that you choose to post to.

Or, email your photo to us at baking@childrenssociety.org.uk and we will share it on our social media on your behalf.

There will be one winner and one prize given for the best Christmas cake photo entry. The winner will be decided by The Children’s Society.

1. Only one entry will be considered per person, across all social media accounts.

2. The Children’s Society reserves the right to remove entries from the website including any entries identified as submitted by persons under the age of 18.

3. The competition is not open to employees of The Children’s Society.  Any entries of the sort will be excluded from winning.

4. Incorrect contact information will automatically disqualify the entrant.

5. The Children’s Society cannot take any responsibility for lost or incomplete entries.

6. Closing date for submitting entries is midnight, Sunday 18th December 2016. No entries will be entered into the competition after this date.

7. The prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance, and if the winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period, or if the prize is declined within a reasonable period, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at The Children’s Society’s discretion.

8. The Children’s Society cannot take any responsibility for losses or personal injuries related to the prize.

9. By emailing your photo to us we reserve the right to post your photo on our social media accounts.

10. By submitting your photo to us through the competition you are giving your permission for us to use it in our promotional material and website content.

11. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

12. The Children’s Society’s decision is final.

Prize 

The prize for the winning entry consists of a Festive Christmas baking Hamper containing a cookbook and seasonal baking goodies. The winner will be announced on Monday 19th December and contacted to arrange delivery of the prize.
