The Barcelona Half Marathon allows UK runners to take in one of the most attractive courses in Europe

About: The half-marathon in Barcelona, also known as the Mitja Marató de Barcelona, is the second largest running event in Barcelona next to the Marathon. 
 
The course is one of the most attractive in Europe. The favorable climatology that characterizes Barcelona combined with a fully urban circuit that passes through the main landmarks of great interest for the runner.
 
The route takes the runners from the Arc de Triomf, by the old town to the Plaça Catalunya. From there it goes down the famous Ramblas and along Avenida del Paral·lel. The runners then go to the Fòrum and along the beach again at the Parc de la Ciutadella to Arc de Triomf, which is the finishing line. 
 
We are really grateful that you thought of joining the Barcelona Half Marathon 2018, in support of The Children's Society. However, we are sorry to say that the registration deadline for this has now passed and registrations for the 2019 event have not yet launched.
