Revised Safeguarding Statutory Guidance

We welcome the government's decision to consult on the changes to this important guidance. However, we do have concerns that the consultation does not indirectly address key issues such as the abolition of mandatory timescales for assessment, the removal of the requirements for an initial assessment, and the lack of guidance on care planning.
