Claiming after care: Care leavers and the benefits system

This report provides further evidence of the financial difficulties faced by care leavers and shows how the benefits system is particularly tough for care leavers. With more joined-up interaction between JobCentre Plus and local authorities, increased understanding and some additional support, we are certain that more care leavers can go on to flourish in adult life.
