We believe that the Anti Social Behaviour (ASB) agenda has had a detrimental effect on c hildren, by blurring the boundaries of criminal behaviour and unnecessarily drawing more children into the criminal justice system. Evidence from our projects show that formal orders and coercive, puntive sanctions are not the most effective way of addressing ASB, particularly amongst young people.
