This is the The Children's Society response to the Cabinet Office consultation on the better use of data. Our response focuses on changes to the Warm Home Discount scheme that would allow low income families with children to receive the £140 rebate automatically, as is currently the case for pensioners, rather than having to apply for it.

Warm and Informed - Evaluation and interim findings: summary report

The Warm and Informed project was launched in September 2014 as a partnership between Northern Gas Networks (NGN) and The Children’s Society, focusing on two low-income areas of Bradford. NGN provided the funding. The project built on previous joint work by these organisations involving giving fuel poverty advice at children’s centres. This summary report highlights the key findings and themes that came out of the evaluation.
