Autumn Statement 2016

This briefing outlines the policy recommendations The Children's Society would like to see adopted in the Autumn Statement.  This includes a statutory breathing space for families in debt, an end to the four year freeze on children's benefits, increased support for low income working families and a reversal to the decision to limit the child elements of child tax credit to the first two children in a household.
