Working with children and young people aged between 11-18 years old with multiple disadvantage

Next Generation Nottingham

Next Generation is a service designed by young people who  have more going on in their lives than people realise.

Next Generation works intensely to help young people access support, build on existing skills and achieve their goals.

Who is the service available to?

The Next Generation service will work with children and young people aged between 11-18 years old from Nottingham City.

These young people could be experiencing a range of challenges known as multiple disadvantage. Challenges that these young people face may relate to child criminal exploitation, child sexual exploitation, domestic abuse, problems at home or school, or edge of care (situations where the child is at risk of going into care).

What does the service provide?

The Next Generation team acts on behalf of young people to support positive progressions:

  • Support to navigate a complex system
  • Support to engage in education, employment or training
  • Support to access specialist services
  • Support to persue hobbies and interests
