Building resilience with children and young people

It is a painful fact that many children and young people in this country are experiencing problems with their mental health. Too often their problems are ignored and their voices are unheard.

Who is this service available to?

We are working with children and young people 0-25 years old, helping them to become more resilient and have good emotional and mental health.

The partnership is led by South Staffordshire and Shropshire NHS Foundation Trust (SSSFT) and we are working with Kooth and Healios to better equip young people and the adults around them with the right tools, techniques and networks to cope with everyday life, transitions and to support their peers.

The aim of the service is to provide 24/7 support, preventing mental health crises and responding quickly, making it easy for young people to get the help they need.

Our service will include drop in sessions for young people, participation groups and working with those in the community.
