We are an early intervention service helping children, young people and families experiencing family conflict, and single parents who have been exposed to domestic violence/abuse

Who is this service for?
We offer a range of services to Oldham-based families, who are either lone parents or parents who live as a couple, that have recently experienced family conflict including domestic violence/abuse.

What support does the service provide?

Our experienced family support team provide bespoke one-to-one support to enable:

  • Parents to identify the contributing factors involved in family conflict 
  • Lone parents to identify the dynamics of unhealthy relationships in order to form healthier relationships in the future.

We also offer support to families in the following areas:

  • building and maintaining positive relationships
  • helping parents engage positively with their children
  • helping lone parents who have experienced domestic violence/abuse gain insight into how domestic violence/abuse may impact their children 
  • emotional health and wellbeing support for children, young people and their parents
  • accessing community services and building upon social networks 
  • referrals to other agencies if required
