Intensive, one to one, bespoke support for families who have experiences domestic abuse

An early intervention service for families in Oldham who are experiencing or have recently been exposed to domestic abuse.

The service is delivered by experienced family support workers and trained volunteers, who provide intensive, one-to-one, bespoke support to help families deal with the impact of what’s happened.

Who is this service available to?

  • Families who have recently or are currently experiencing low level domestic abuse, and have at least one child living in their household who is under 18 years of age.
  • Children under 10 years of age who recently witnessed domestic abuse and as a result, are harming their parent and need support to stop.
  • Lone parent families (with children under 18 years of age) who have experienced domestic abuse and where parents have separated within the last 12 months.

All referrals for the service should be made via the Oldham Early Help Service on 0161 770 6672.
