We provide specialist support to children and young people aged 8-24 years who are victims of, or at risk of sexual exploitation across Essex

Teenage boy speaks to a counsellor

Support is provided with one-to-one counselling aimed at ensuring victims of sexual abuse have their needs met to improve their emotional well-being. Children and young people identified as at risk of sexual abuse can be supported through our eight week therapeutic group work programme.

These services are provided with the aim that they will help young people grow in confidence and self-esteem. We also help parents and carers by providing advice and guidance to allow them to support young people when needed, and help them provide a safe space for children in their care. Support is also given to families that have been affected by child sexual exploitation.

We also provide training in conjunction with Essex Police and Social Care around child sexual exploitation to support professionals to identify young people they work with at risk of child sexual exploitation.

Who is this service available to?

Children and young people aged 8-24 years who are at risk of sexual exploitation, or have been victims of abuse, in Essex. We also provide advice and guidance for parents and carers.
