What does CheckPoint do?

We're here to help children and young people:

  • Stay safe and healthy
  • Know their rights
  • Understand their responsibilities in the community - encouraging them to consider their choices and make informed decisions so they can achieve their full potential.

What do we offer?

We offer a range of specialist services. These include:

  • Drug and alcohol services
  • Young people who go missing from home
  • Independent visitors for those in the care of the local council
  • Advocacy service to protect young people's rights
  • Emotional health and wellbeing
  • Sexual exploitation and abuse services.

How to access the service

Anyone can call us and refer a young person to the service: professionals, family and young people too.
