Lisa Butcher Dares to Care
Lisa Butcher, supermodel and presenter of What Not to Wear, has been helping young volunteers to create the shop’s displays in The Children's Society shop in Surbiton as part of the launch of Dare to Dare.
Lisa visited our Surbiton shop to lend a hand to children who volunteered in order to help them gain valuable skills. The day is one of the activities in Education Month, part of the campaign, Dare to Care: Make time to help end child poverty.
Lisa said: “It’s been fantastic working with the children today at The Children’s Society shop. I was impressed with their creative ideas for the window display that we put together and they were clearly getting a great experience from their day. I would urge people to volunteer their time and skills to allow children to benefit from these educational experiences that help them to have a good childhood.”
