Volunteers' and young carers' stories, and your invitation to write for our blog

If you haven't had a chance to read stories from our blog lately, please do take a few minutes. Over the past couple of weeks - which were Volunteers' Week and Carers Week - we ran a great collection of stories.

Last week we featured pieces from volunteers from across our organisation, and this week we featured stories by young carers. You can find all of the stories under the young carers and volunteers' voices sections of our blog, or feel free to visit the blog to find these stories and more.

If the stories inspire you to talk about your experiences volunteering for us, as a young carer or other aspects of our work supporting children, young people and their families, please let us know - we'd like to hear from you and share your story on our blog.

Reading blog posts on your Kindle or other e-reader

We're looking into different ways to share our blog and we're trying a service called Readlists, which compiles stories that can either be read online or sent as a small e-book to your Kindle or other e-reading device.

This first collection focusses on stories related to young carers. Clicking on the story titles open the stories on our website. Using the 'export' menu allows you to send the stories to your Kindle, iPhone/iPad or other e-reader. Please give it a try, and let us know what you think.
