Seriously Awkward campaign: A busy week at Parliament

The Seriously Awkward campaign is really building momentum.

Currently, parliament is debating the Policing and Crime Bill which provides a vital opportunity to address some of the inconsistences in legislation that leave 16 and 17 year olds able to fall through the gaps between adulthood and childhood.

Our two key asks are:

1.         Mental health provision for children who have experienced sexual abuse or exploitation

2.         Tools that prevent adults who pose a risk approaching a vulnerable child.

This week we were at two events in parliament. We were live tweeting at both events. Below is our round up of the discussions.

We need your support to ask the Government to take action on this issue.
