Put the phone down! Stop scrolling

Whatever you’re reading this calendar on has probably distracted you from your surroundings at some point.

Technology is fantastic but, be it TV, tablets or phones, devices can make us ignore and withdraw from what is around us.

Yet, taking notice of our surroundings is great for our well-being. We can notice the warmth of a cup of tea, the colour of the sky, or that we haven’t spoken to a good friend for a long time.

So today why not switch off, mute or put away any distractions and appreciate the little beauties of life.

Disconnect from distractions

Well-being and mental health
