Telethon raises over £50,000 for child refugees

The Guardian and the Observer's Christmas telethon on Saturday, saw journalists manning phones from 10am to 6pm, to raise more than £50,000 in aid of refugee children. The money donated by readers and supporters will help our services continue their vital work with child refugees, to reach more vulnerable young people and provide more intensive support.
