Delivering more meaningful meals this Christmas

We're partnering with on their Meaningful Meals campaign, which brings hot, nutritious meals to some of the UK's most vulnerable families over Christmas time. Please read this story by Alice Purkiss at explaining why they chose to partner with us on Meaningful Meals.

Easing pressure that can come with the festive season

This month at we’re really excited to have teamed up with The Children’s Society for our Meaningful Meals campaign. From the 9-21 December, we’re helping to provide hot and nutritious meals to some of the UK's poorest families.

We know that Christmas can be a really tough time for many across the country, as millions of families in the UK are currently living in poverty. We understand what financial stresses are faced by parents and children when one of the most expensive annual events rolls around.

At this time of year, some parents face a difficult choice between heating the house and buying presents for their little ones, while being able to provide their youngsters with a happy and hearty Christmas dinner seems a million miles away. We want to help ease some of the pressure that can come with the festive season.

A hot meal costs £5 on average. Our aim is to help families in need and to give a little back. So as many of our users turn to us to help reduce the cost of giving at Christmas, this is the perfect time to give a little ourselves.

We’re really looking forward to this project and we very much hope this is the start of a long relationship with The Children's Society.
