Advent: Parliament is taking notice

We’ve rescheduled our Advent calendar because this was too good an opportunity to miss.

Each Saturday in Advent we have asked a young blogger to share their reflections following reading the stories of other young people, like Chloe and Jemma. Write to your MP to ask them to take part in our Parliamentary debate on child sexual exploitation.

But it is not just in our Advent calendar that these stories are getting noticed. Our Seriously Awkward campaign is also getting noticed in Parliament and in the last couple of days an important debate has been announced. So we’ve rescheduled our calendar to give you this opportunity to turn reading and reflecting on the reality of young people today into action on their behalf.

It was too important an opportunity to miss.

Theresa May has already responded to questions our campaigners helped ask - and now there's going to be a three hour debate in Parliament next Thursday on the sexual exploitation of 16 and 17 year olds.

This debate could be crucial for young people like Chloe and Jemma.

Please will you join us by inviting your MP to attend the debate?
