Advent: Five ways to well-being for children and teenagers

The Children’s Society asked thousands of children and teenagers about what makes them happy. Here we provide simple, straightforward advice on five ways to well-being for children and teenagers.

Make Christmas as special as possible

The Christmas school holidays are here. We have advice on things that parents, grandparents and carers can do to support the well-being of children and teenagers at this exciting, but often stressful time. Whatever your role, take the time to talk and listen, keep children active and learning and keep their creative imaginations at play to make their Christmas as special as possible. Whether you are a parent or guardian or not, these slides offer simple, straightforward advice on engaging children and young people during the holidays.

Have a look at the images and suggestions and then consider what you might be able to do to support those children and young people whose parents are not in a position to offer them the support they need.

Why not sign up for our prayer email to join thousands of others in prayer for children and young people at risk of the impact of poverty and neglect?
