A Seriously Awkward age?

Teens at our Young Carer's festival were quizzed on which laws see 16 and 17 year olds as children, and where things aren't so clear.

Being 16 and 17 can be an awkward age, and inconsistent laws can make it Seriously Awkward for vulnerable teens. Thousands of 16 and 17 year olds are often left without the same basic protections as younger children.

Call on the Government to change the law to protect 16 and 17 year olds from abuse, harm and neglect.
