With schools closing and social distancing in force, it's understandable to be feeling stressed. In times like this, it's important to take time out to look after yourself - it can make the world of difference.

1. Get a good night's sleep

A good sleep pattern can completely change your mood. If you struggle to get enough sleep, try some of Charlotte from Beam Shropshire's tips.

2. Switch off from social media and the news

We can spend so much time worrying about what other people are doing that we forget to think about what we want to do. If switching off is too difficult, check out our ideas for positive accounts you can follow.

3. Make a to-do list

A to-do list can keep you organised, and adding simple things like 'eating breakfast' can help you feel more productive.

4. Make time for the activities you enjoy

This could be reading a book, going for a walk or listening to music - whatever you like, having something to look forward to can keep you going through the day.

5. Be kind to yourself

We all have a bad day sometimes, and that's okay. Tomorrow's a new day and we can start all over again!
