The Children’s Society Garden - by award winning designer Mark Gregory - is an urban space for the future, where families can spend time together and children can learn about environmental responsibility.  A new category for 2008, the Front Garden tackles controversial issues regarding loss of front gardens for alternative purposes such as parking. The Children’s Society Garden explores future urban living, giving practical solutions for the environmental concerns of city families.

Said Melinda, “I’m so chuffed to be at the Chelsea Flower Show this year supporting The Children’s Society Garden. It’s great the charity wants to make front gardens green again. As a mother I think it’s really important that we create safe, fun spaces for our kids to spend time and learn about the environment."

Congratulations to Mark for winning Gold and a big thank you to June Whitfield CBE, Sir David Bellamy OBE, Sarah Beeny and Bernard Cribbins for their messages of support.
