Well publicised celebrations attract the best turn-out and raise the most funds for disadvantaged children.
Invitations
Send out invitations well in advance of the celebration and put up posters in your local area.
Get your local community involved and contact your local Clergy, Brownies, Guides and Cub Scout leaders, Boys' and Girls' Brigades, Teachers, Choirmasters and Organists.
Posters
Download our invitation poster or general poster and put them around your community to tell everyone about your event.
Press
Don't forget the local press and get your press release out early to make sure your local newspaper and/or magazine mentions your Christingle service.

Start collecting
Hand out our collection envelopes and candles to participants (schools, community groups and members of your church), before your event so that they can start fundraising and bring their donations to the service.

Coffee mornings, fêtes and exhibitions can provide occasions to publicise your Christingle service and raise extra funds.
