Choirs and Orchestras

Can you make a difference to the lives of thousands of disadvantaged young people through music? Whether you sing in a choir, play in an orchestra, a band, string quartet or wind ensemble, you can use your musical talents to raise money for The Children's Society's vital work.

We are calling on musicians and music groups across the UK to make some noise to make some money. There are many ways to use music and raise vital funds to make childhood better. Here are a few suggestions:

  • Hold a special concert in aid of The Children's Society
  • Entertain commuters in a busy station and collect as you play
  • Take a collection for The Children's Society at a pre-arranged concert
  • Play and collect at a shopping centre, high street or door-to-door

To help you sing, play and collect you can download our leaflet and order free fundraising resources, including;

  • Collection buckets, authority badges and collection envelopes
  • The Children's Society stickers, posters and sashes
  • Carol books
  • Giros and gift aid forms
Together we can make childhood better for all children in the UK
