The 2007 Carol Singing appeal was a huge success with over £100,000 raised.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part - hopefully you'll join us again later on in the year to sing the praises of The Children's Society.
Looking ahead to Christmas 2008, here are some ways for you to get involved.
Individuals and groups
Why not get together with friends, family and colleagues and collect in your local community. You could organise a door-to-door collection or get everyone in your area into the Christmas spirit by singing carols in a busy shopping area or your local village square.
Church Services
A great way to celebrate Christmas is to hold a carol service within your church and singing carols by candlelight can make the event even more special. We can offer you everything you need for free, including wax candles, cardboard drip shields, collection envelopes and carol books. If your church already has a service planned, why not suggest a collection in aid of The Children's Society.
Choirs
If you're a member of a choir, then why not use your voice to organise a carol concert in aid of The Children's Society or join your local church for a special service. You could also raise the profile of your choir by singing in your local community.
