Gift aid it

Are you a UK taxpayer? If so by signing a Gift Aid Declaration you will enable The Children’s Society to claim the tax back from the Government on all your donations. For every £1 you donate we can claim back 25p, making your gift worth a quarter more at no extra cost to you.

Payments can be made by cash, cheque, postal order, direct debit, standing order, debit or credit card or even in a foreign currency (including Euros).

You can give any amount, large or small, regular or one-off, for which The Children’s Society can reclaim the tax and make your gift go even further.

How the extra money we receive through your Gift Aid could help:

  • £5 can enable a child - being bullied in school or in the community - to have their first 20-minute session with one of our specialist workers.
  • £10 would provide a homeless young person with basic provisions including warm clothing, toiletries and a blanket.
  • £20 pays to hire a specially equipped 'sensory room' for a day - enabling disabled children to improve their sensory perception.
  • £50 pays for a project worker to spend three hours giving practical help to a young runaway.
