Our Christmas campaign: ever wondered how to make your own chocolate reindeer droppings?
The Children's Society have just launched it's largest Christmas campaign to date, by offering potential donors a free book called Batteries not included, which has everything you need to make your Christmas special this year.
From delicious chocolate reindeer droppings to snowmen without the snow, the book is an inspiring collection of Christmas hints and ideas from parents, children and famous faces.
We believe that every child deserves a good childhood - to be loved and to feel like they're part of a family. So there's nothing more important than spending quality time with them, especially at Christmas.
Batteries not included shows how spending quality family time together doesn't have to revolve around expensive toys and gadgets. In fact, some of the best times can be had for free, from fun family games to practical ideas you may never have heard of.
Batteries not included is going to be promoted through a four week TV advertising campaign, including slots during This Morning and GMTV. There will also be press inserts in a range of publications, as well as door drops, and direct mail.
Our aim is to attract new supporters through this campaign, so that we can expand our work supporting thousands of children and their families each year.
