Case study - Ecclesiastical Insurance provide some fishy fun at Western Corner
On a sunny day in June 2007, 14 Ecclesiastical Insurance employers took up the challenge to paint the walls at our disability project – Western Corner. We needed something bright, we needed some thing colourful and we needed expert painters. Ecclesiastical volunteers certainly delivered! Taking inspiration from the children themselves, they cleaned, they painted, they caught the sun, they painted some more and the end result was wonderful fresh walls and an underwater haven with Nemo and friends taking centre place!
"We had such an inspiring day at Western Corner decorating the project and meeting more Children's Society staff. As our team is geographically spread across the country, this was a fantastic opportunity to not only make a difference to those children who need it most but also to unify our team in a creative way. We all hope the disabled children who access the project facilities enjoy our sea blue colours and ‘Finding Nemo’ designs! All in all, it was a fabulous day out of the office and a perfect team building activity in aid of our charity partner. Thank you."
