Berkhamsted Committee's 40th Sponsored Walk

Location: Berkhamsted
Date: 11 May 2008
Time: 10:00

We are delighted to announce that Berkhamsted Committee is running its 40th Sponsored Walk in aid of the Children’s Society. You are invited to take part in an adventurous, fun-packed day out exploring the enchanting Chiltern countryside, to raise money for disadvantaged children in the UK.

You can choose between a 6, 11 or 18-mile route – so there is fun for both the casual stroller and serious walkers! Invite friends and family along and enjoy views of spectacular bluebell woods, rolling chalk hills, and landmarks including the National Trust’s Ashridge Estate and Alpine Meadow, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Three fantastic prizes are up for grabs for participants that raise the most money, generously donated by The Complete Outdoors, the outdoor equipment retailer. Peter Drury, the ITV Sports commentator, will open the event.

For more information about the walks and to register online, please click here to access the Berkhamsted Committee website or call Berkhamsted Committee on 01442 864 968.
