The route will take you past some of the city’s favourite landmarks and all Young Detective’s will have to keep their eyes peeled for clues and costumed characters along the way. As well as solving the mystery they can also collect stamps for their very own Explorer Case Book and Adventure Pack*!

‘We had such fun solving the young detectives mystery as a family. It’s rather rare to find something that keeps all the children entertained despite their age differences. We’re already looking forward to a new mystery next year!’

Walk & Explore 2008 participant, Canterbury.

At just over 1.5miles, The Young Detectives’ Trail should be manageable for even the smallest feet, but if it’s just a little too far, the walk is also pushchair friendly.
On completion of the walk the whole family will receive a fun goody bag and medal of congratulations. There will also be entertainment, arts and crafts for all to enjoy at Base Camp until 3.30pm.

*Explorer Case Books are sent to all children who have been pre-registered online or over the phone. Adventure Pack’s are given out to all participants on the day of the event and include the trail map.
