BUPA Great North Run 2008

What it is? 

  • This is the world's largest half marathon with over 47,000 entrants.
  • The route takes you on a scenic journey through the heart of Newcastle and out to the North Sea coast. 
  • There's a fantastic atmosphere as the roads are lined with cheering supporters to encourage you on to the finish.

If you would like to run, why not sign up for BUPA Great South Run instead? It's a 10 mile run on the south coast around Portsmouth. Or maybe you'd like to consider a full marathon, we have places in Berlin and Chicago.

If you are successful in securing a place we would love you to run for us on the day as part of The Children's Society team. To join our team simply contact us clearly stating that you have your own place. No registration fee is required.
