Fundraising in your church
A large percentage of our income comes from individuals and groups in church communities. Their generosity enables and underpins our work with disadvantaged and vulnerable young people.
Raising money can be fun and an easy way for your church to engage with issues of poverty and disadvantage.
Our fundraising is just one response to our prayer and worship, and we are committed to providing resources to help you do both.
Ways you can raise funds
There are numerous ways your church can support our work.
They include holding special services, organising group events and performing collections.
Special services
Services like Christingle or Mothering Sunday often bring new people into church, and reach out to children and young people in your area.
Group events
Carol singing and Bake and Brew events can be great ways to get people together and build your community.
Collections
You could do a Collection for Children, which is easy to adapt to your own context. Or keep a collection box in your home or church, an easy and effective way of getting rid of your loose change. These alone bring in over £2 million every year.
Other ideas
There are many ways to support our work – you can creative and do something totally different. You’ll find plenty of ideas in our Events and activities section.
