Volunteer with children and people

young black girl

Over 800 people give up their time to support the Children's Society, helping more children and young people experience a good childhood.

The roles our volunteers undertake range from helping run a 'stay and play' with young children and parents, to offering one-to-one mentoring support to an older young person who needs someone to turn to.

You may choose to help a disabled young person get out and enjoy themselves, or to act as an independent visitor for a young person in care. Or you might prefer a more behind-the-scenes role, administrating or organising one of our events or activities.
