Batteries not included - our free and low cost Christmas activities

Children at ChristmasWelcome to our selection of free and low-cost activities you can do with your children this Christmas.

At The Children's Society, we believe that every child deserves to enjoy a good childhood.

Never is this more so than at Christmas. But it doesn’t have to involve expensive toys and gadgets – as you’ll see from the following pages.

From Christmas tree angels to reindeer droppings (they’re edible – honest!), Batteries not included features plenty of things to do, to make and to bake. None of the ideas cost the earth and all will bring a smile to your child’s face – to yours, too, we hope!

Activities, ideas and treats
