Our collection box scheme is one of our most powerful legacies and is one of the simplest and easiest ways that people of all ages choose support us

Collection of five house boxes from several decades

Since 1882 we have been synonymous with charity collection boxes. Today, 90,000 people in 5,000 networks across the country support us by choosing to have one of our iconic charity boxes at home. Some of our long-standing networks generate over £25,000 in their lifetime towards improving the lives of vulnerable young people.

Each year, our network of house box holders gather loose change that provide £1.7 million a year to help change the lives of children and young people.

Get involved

There are two ways you can get involved:

Become a box holder - simply order your donation box to sit on your desk at work or somewhere safe in your home and start collecting your loose change.

Become a box coordinator
- you will be a hub of activity, inspiring a group of box holders in your area to collect their loose change for vulnerable children. You'll also mobilise your family, friends, colleagues or fellow church members to join a powerful group of supporters who choose to have a collection box for their home or workplace. In addition, you'll gather your amazing network to collect their donations once or twice a year, sending their donations back to us and keeping us informed about changes to your group.

Volunteering to fundraise for our organisation is a simple yet wonderful way to change the stories of thousands of this country’s most disadvantaged children and young people.
