Every five minutes a child runs away from home or care in the UK. Shockingly, a quarter of those young people - 70 a day - are forced out of their homes by parents or carers. They are often forced in to taking greater risks on the streets. Many are physically harmed or abused while they’re away from home. 

In most cases children who run away have no one to turn to. Hungry, lonely and scared, children as young as 11 are in serious danger and it’s vital that we act now to bring them to safety just like Sally, who you can read more about.
